Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens

Museo | Diss | Inglaterra | Reino Unido

Absolutely great place for a family day out if you don't really like trains there's the gardens and nurseries to wander round or get one of the three narrow gauge railways and have a look at them from a different angle

An amazing place for young and old. We loved all of the steamies and the fact we could ride them as many times as we wanted. My two year old is still talking about it 😀

Considering our visit was pretty much at the end of the season we felt very welcome. All the attractions were open, train rides and the Gallopers were available and staff at each location were friendly and helpful. The volunteers were keen to share knowledge with us and were extremely enthusiastic despite it being a cold and windy day. Have already recommended,as a day out to several friends, who like us haven't visited in a while.

Excellent day out for all the family! A special mention to the young man in the gallery with the miniature Thomas track…what a lovely person you are…you made my grandsons day as he asked for the trains one by one and you popped them on the track for him to see racing by…thankyou 😊

Fantastic wonderful place to visit. Best day out for a while. Loads of steam trains to see and ride on. Quite long trips. Narrow gauge and standard gauge. A lovely Terrier as used on the Hayling Branch is running here. Delightful! A steam enthusiast's heaven. Also had a very nice 16mm model railway.

Great day out. I had train rides and went in the signal box. There's plenty to see. Garden centre right beside museum. It was bissy with queue for each ride, but everyone got on each time. There are plenty of tables for pickets.

Much better for the Steam side, my OH enjoyed the train rides and chance to look at the engine displays. I found the garden a bit disappointing. The beds were planted nicely, but it was all very samey. It had a rather 'municipal' feel to it.
